Television queen Ekta Kapoor recently announced about her premiere digital Venture ALT Balaji, that will be launched early, this year (2017). To be launched in January, the digital platform will dole out concepts touted to be real, bold, and super exciting.
The first web series will be directed by Nagesh Kukunoor and stars Nimrat Kaur, while the second one is a bold web series that will feature “Bade Acche Lagte Hain” couple Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar. The latest post of Ekta hints about another web series that might feature Mouni Roy!
Ekta shared a picture snapped with Mouni and wrote, “Someone is about to take a leaaaaap!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️?????? #webseries #mehrunisaa.”

Mouni too shared the same picture and wrote, “Because you re love , you re the best @ektaravikapoor ?.”
The post clearly hints at Ekta making a web series on the Mughal Queen Mehrunisaa. And seems like Mouni will play the titular role.
Our source shared with us, “Yes, talks are on but nothing has been confirmed till now. Ekta wants to do a show with Mouni and they recently met to discuss the same. Hopefully things would work out, for Ekta and Mouni truly make for a successful association.”
We have already seen the duo’s magic in the form of Naagin. The show has been topping the TRP charts, and now we are eagerly waiting for Ekta’s new venture that promises real, bold, and unique content!
