On Tuesday evening Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a nationwide complete lockdown for 21 days. Several Bollywood and TV celebs applauded PM’s move and urged their fans to strictly follow the lockdown and practice social distancing.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has started a new initiative called, PM-CARES Fund. This fund is for the people who are willing to donate for the affected people and for the betterment of the citizens.

And now, bollywood actor Akshay Kumar donate a whopping amount of Rs 25 crore to PM Modi’s Relief Fund.

Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “This is that time when all that matters is the lives of our people. And we need to do anything and everything it takes. I pledge to contribute Rs 25 crores from my savings to @narendramodi ji’s PM-CARES Fund. Let’s save lives, Jaan hai toh jahaan hai.”

Soon PM Modi replied to the actor’s post saying, “Great gesture @akshaykumar Let’s keep donating for a healthier India.”
