3. Kapil Sharma’s remark on pregnant women
In an episode on “Comedy Nights With Kapil”, the star comedian Kapil Sharma had cracked a joke about a pregnant woman delivering a baby while travelling on a road full of potholes, which women activists felt was derogatory and insulting.
The Maharashtra State Commission for Women has issued a show cause notice to comedian Kapil Sharma and Colors channel demanding an explanation within a fortnight. two NGOs —Bhartiya Muslim Mahila Andolan and Kaydeshir Wagne — have lodged a complaint with the Maharashtra State Women’s Commission, seeking legal action.

4. When Kavita Kaushik not tolerate the joke
Television’s Chandramukhi Chautala aka Kavita Kaushik left dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa’s before it’s grand finale. Kavita was unhappy with the jokes being cracked at her expense by the team of “Comedy Nights Bachao”. Actually a member of “Comedy Nights Bachao” called “Kavita Kaushik” as “Kavika Koshish” which ieked the actress.
Calling it an ‘attack on her dignity’, Kavita told that she walked out of the sets when her microphone was switched off the moment she tried to retaliate. “I started my career as an anchor and I don’t do it myself. I have not attended award shows for the past few years because this is the kind of humour that is carried out there. I don’t enjoy stuff like that and I am a little too dignified for stuff like this” she said.
