Recently, 49 celebrities wrote an open letter to PM Modi and expressed their concerns over the growing cases of mob lynching in India. The celebrities included Anurag Kashyap, Aparna Sen, Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Mani Ratnam and Konkona Sen Sharma and many more.
However, this has landed Anurag Kashyap into another controversy as a Twitter user gave him a death threat by writing that he had recently cleaned his rifle and shotgun and is currently waiting to see the ace director in person.

It didn’t take too long for Kashyap to respond as he forwarded the tweet to Mumbai Police and they were quick enough to reply to the director. The Mumbai Police wrote, “The cyber police station has been sent the account details. Request you to file a police complaint at the your nearest police station for legal action to be initiated.”
