Hold your heart one of the most lovely on-screen pair Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shroff re-unit again. But this time the “Baaghi” so-star coming together for sports. Not quite literally but the two actors will be seen putting up a class act for the opening ceremonies of this year’s IPL.

The popular cricket season, Indian Premiere League celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and in order to mark the special occasion, reportedly, there will be as many as eight opening ceremonies in home grounds like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Mohali, Mumbai, Pune and Rajkot.

With such grand plans on offer, it is learnt that Bollywood actors Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shroff have been approached to perform at two of the eight venues.

According to the reports, Tiger is expected to perform at Rajkot’s Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) stadium. His act will include tracks from his own films and evergreen chartbusters from his mentor Hrithik Roshan’s films.  The 25-year-old actor will be accompanied by mother Ayesha as he kicks off proceedings at Indore’s Holkar Cricket Stadium for a match between Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

Tiger’s Baaghi co-star, Shraddha Kapoor, will also be performing on her own chartbusters at the iconic Eden Gardens, Kolkata.Furthermore, it is being said that her father and actor Shakti Kapoor r who has played cricket at the state-level and is a huge fan of the sport, will also attend the event to cheer his daughter on and support Shah Rukh Khan’s IPL team, KKR.

The opening ceremony on April 5 at Hyderabad is expected to be a star-studded affair with who’s who of entertainment industry being present for the gala affair. Interestingly, the final match of IPL 2017 will also take place at the same venue.

Last year’s opening ceremony lasted two hours and 15 minutes with performances by Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez and rapper Honey Singh. The American dancehall reggae group, Major Lazer, set the stage on fire with singer Shweta Pandit.

On the film front, Tiger Shroff has three films in the pipeline which includes “Munna Michael”, “Student Of The Year” and “Baaghi 2”. On the other hand Shraddha Kapoor, has recently wrapped up “Haseena – The Queen of Mumbai” and is eagerly waiting for the release of “Half Girlfriend”.
