Vinod Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan, who were together seen in ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’,  also seen together on cricket ground. In a charity match played at Eden Gardens in Kolkata in 1980, both of them had also landed in the opening.

As the news of Vinod Khanna’s death came out, the entire film fraternity was shocked and saddened by the demise of the legendary actor.

Vinod is under supervision in Mumbai’s hospital. He is said to be suffering from acute dehydration. However, there was speculation that the star was diagnosed with bladder cancer.
