Last week, a video of veteran playback singer Udit Narayan’s son Aditya abusing an airline staff at the Raipur airport is doing rounds on social media.
A video has surfaced that shows Aditya threatening an official of Indigo Airlines because the singer was objected to record a video inside the airport premises.
After seeing this video, Aditya’s father Udit Narayan said that his son has made a mistake and he will make him issue a public apology soon.
And now, if reports are to be believed, Aditya apologised on national television. Aditya who is currently hosting his sixth season of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs’ apologised on the stage.
He said, “I am very, very sorry. I am extremely sorry. Aap shayad jaante hain ki main aisa nahi hoon. And India, thank you so much for the support over the years.”
The ugly showdown started soon after Aditya was asked to pay Rs 13,000/- for carrying luggage beyond regular limit. But he refused to pay the entire amount and agreed to pay only Rs 10,000/- .He not only threatened airline staff but also used unparliamentary language.
The 30-year-old was in Raipur for performing at Dussehra Festival. While returning back on Sunday, the singer and an official had a heated argument at the airport.
