Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s wedding celebration begin with Anna Seva

Business tycoon Mukesh Ambani’s son Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta are all set to tie the knot on March 9, 2019. Meanwhile, the pre-wedding functions have kick-started.

On March 6, 2019, the family has organised the Anna Seva, where they reportedly participated in feeding 2,000 underprivileged children across orphanages and old age homes in Mumbai, and will continue to do so until March 13.

The power couple, Akash and Shloka arrived at the venue all decked up in traditional ensembles.

This is the second time that the Ambani family has taken part in such an initiative before wedding in their family. Last year, before Isha Ambani’s wedding, the family fed about 5,100 people in Udaipur.

The wedding of Akash and Shloka will take place on March 9, 10 and 11 and the venue will be the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai.

According to reports, “The Mangal Baaraat will assemble at the Trident in Mumbai at 3.30 pm on Saturday. From the Trident, the baaraatis are to leave for the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex. A high tea will be hosted for the guests at Jio World Centre at 6.30 pm on March 9. Akash and Shloka’s wedding ceremony will take place at 7:30 pm. The Mangal Parv is being hosted on March 10, the second Sunday of March this year. Akash and Shloka’s families are throwing a lavish bash for their guests and the who’s who of Bollywood, politics and the business circuits of the country are expected to attend the event.”

Shloka and Akash studied together at Dhirubhai Ambani International School in the Bandra Kurla Complex. After finishing schooling at Dhirubhai Ambani International School in 2009, Shloka went on to study Anthropology at Princeton University and masters in Law at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
