Akash-Shloka Wedding: Team bride rocks the dance floor at Mala and Mehendi ceremony

Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s son Akash Ambani is set to tie the knot with diamond merchant Russell Mehta’s daughter Shloka Mehta this weekend. 

After organizing an Anna Seva ceremony on March 6 where they reportedly participated in feeding 2,000 underprivileged children across orphanages and old age homes in Mumbai.

Now, last night the families arranged a mala and mehendi night for the bride-to-be, Shloka Mehta.

Last month, the soon-to-be-married couple hosted a grand pre-wedding celebration at St Moritz, Switzerland. The celebration was attended by many prominent Bollywood celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora. 

The wedding of Akash and Shloka will take place on March 9, 10 and 11 and the venue will be the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai.

According to reports, “The Mangal Baaraat will assemble at the Trident in Mumbai at 3.30 pm on Saturday. From the Trident, the baaraatis are to leave for the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex. A high tea will be hosted for the guests at Jio World Centre at 6.30 pm on March 9. Akash and Shloka’s wedding ceremony will take place at 7:30 pm. The Mangal Parv is being hosted on March 10, the second Sunday of March this year. Akash and Shloka’s families are throwing a lavish bash for their guests and the who’s who of Bollywood, politics and the business circuits of the country are expected to attend the event.”
