Recently, there were news doing the rounds that Rishi Kapoor will be back to the country soon after his treatment in the US.
According to reports, Rishi is said to have communicated to a friend that he is likely to return to India by March end.
However, on being contacted in the US, Rishi denied any plans to return to India in the near future.
Rishi Kapoor is not returning to India
A source close to the Kapoor family said: “Rishi is homesick and very eager to return home. They have a wedding to plan (son Ranbir Kapoor is reportedly set to marry Alia Bhatt). And he’s counting the days.
“But he’s not ready yet to return. His treatment is slow but steady. Hopefully, he can come home in a few months. But end of this month? No way!”
Meanwhile, Neetu Kapoor took to social media and shared Rishi Kapoor‘s new look. The actor looks happy in the photograph and Neetu’s caption suggests that the actor is battling the problem with great strength and vigour.
She captioned the photo as, “Saab’s hair all buzzzzed !!! Josh is great !!! Love this look.”

Rishi Kapoor had moved to the US last year for medical treatment. However, the exact nature of his illness has not been disclosed yet. In January, Rishi told a portal, “My treatment is on, hopefully I will recover soon and God willing I will return. The procedure is long and tedious and one needs immense patience which unfortunately is not one of my virtue.”
Rishi had announced in September last year that he was leaving for the US for treatment, and since then he has been staying with Neetu in New York. His children, Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, have been visiting him from time to time. A good number of Bollywood stars too have been to visit him, including Alia Bhatt, who is rumoured to be Ranbir’s girlfriend.
