BJP MLA urges Virat Kohli to divorce Anushka Sharma for producing Pataal Lok

Anushka Sharma produced crime-thriller series Paatal Lok has been gripped in controversies since it has been premiered on Amazon Prime.

Netizens have objected to many things and have asked to ban the series and has been accused of ‘hinduphobia’.

Recently, Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Nandkishor Gurjar has filed an FIR against actor and producer Anushka Sharma for using his picture in the web series without his consent.

Moreover, the right-wing MLA has also filed a police case against the Bollywood actress under the National Security Act for creating a communal stir in the society. And now, Nandkishor has gone one step ahead urging Team India skipper Virat Kohli to give divorce to his wife.

In a conversation with Newsroom Post, Nandkishor stated that no one is bigger than the country. Thus, Virat shouldn’t tolerate it and must divorce Anushka as soon as possible, added the BJP MLA. He also said that this step from the Indian captain will send a strong message to everyone.

The politician, in his statement, said, “Virat Kohli desh bhakt hai, desh k liye khele hai. Anushka ko talak de dena chahiye”

To take it further, the BJP MLA has also written a letter to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prakash Javdekar and has requested to ban the streaming of the web series.
