Shah Rukh Khan made this revelation on the chat show Yaaron Ki Baarat, hosted by actor Ritiesh Deshmukh and filmmaker Sajid Khan. The actor was present with his co-star Anushka Sharma. He said, “Armaan Kohli is responsible for me being a star. He featured on the ‘Deewana’ poster with late Divya Bharti. I still have that poster. Thank you for making me a star.”
Armaan made his debut as a leading actor in his father’s 1992 film Virodhi. He starred in several other films in the 1990s including Dushman Zamana, Aulad Ke Dushman and Qahar, Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani. LOC: Kargil, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. But, he couldn’t make his mark in bollywood.

Armaan has also participated in ‘Bigg Boss’ Season 7. During this, he hit the headlines due to his relationship with Kajol’s sister Tanishaa Mukerji. Armaan has always been in the discussion about his affair. Earlier, his affair with actress Ayesha Jhulka also made the headlines.
He was also in relationship with ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ actress Munmun Dutta. But their relationship didn’t exist because the actress claimed that Armaan had turned physical with her and even hit her. At one point, the physical abuse grew so much that Munmun registered a case against him.
