He even got emotional as he spoke about his Tubelight co-star Om Puri who passed away earlier this year. “The strange thing is whenever I see the trailer, teaser or song, I see Om ji and it kills me. I have done a lot of work with Om ji and I felt one moment he was there and then he was gone. I don’t actually enjoy watching the trailer, song or teaser as I can see him there,” Salman said.

Along with Om Puri, he also remembered Reema Lagoo and Vinod Khanna, two veteran actors with whom he worked extensively and who died recently. “We just lost V K (Vinod Khanna) sir, he was an amazing person. While I was shooting, I heard about the demise of Reema ji. It’s sad that I lost three very close people in the last three or four months,” he added.

Reema Lagoo had worked with Salman Khan in several films. She was the beloved on-screen mother and Salman played her son in most of them. They had starred together in films like Hum Saath Saath Hain, Maine Pyaar Kiya, Saajan, Judwaa and more.  Vinod Khanna played his father in the both the parts of Dabangg. Om Puri had starred with Salman in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Dabangg and London Dreams among others.

Directed by Kabir Khan, Tubelight also features Chinese actress Zhu Zhu. The film is scheduled to release this Eid.
