Veteran actor Vinod Khanna (70), who had been admitted to HN Reliance Foundation and Research Centre in Girgaon, Mumbai recently, breathed his last at 11.20am on April 27.
He was said to be suffering from cancer. The actor was hospitalised in the first week of April due to severe dehydration but was later said to be stable and responding positively to treatment.
A photo of him with his son and wife went viral during his stay at the hospital. Khanna look extremely weak and frail in the photo which his many fans getting concerned for his health.

After partition of India and Pakistan, Vinod Khanna’s family moved to Mumbai. His father was a textile businessman. After schooling in Mumbai and Delhi, Vinod wanted to become an engineer in his college days. He was a science student. However his father wanted him to take commerce and after completing his studies, joins the family business. According to Vinod, he began working in the theater during his college days. There he had several girlfriend. It was the place where he met Geetanjali. Geetanjali was Vinod’s first wife. There love story began during their college days.
