Bollywood lyrcist and scriptwriter Javed Akhtar turns 75 on January 17. On this occasion, the actor hosted a retro-themed party with wife Shabana Azmi.
The party was attended by Shabana Azmi, Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Anil Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, Manish Malhotra, Divya Dutta, and others last night.
For the occasion, Javed wore a Red shirt with white polka dots, white pants and matching shoes. Shabana, on the other hand, can be seen twinning with her husband as she wore a red dress with white polka dots with a denim jacket over it. Her knotted headband gave an additional touch to her 70s look.
Farhan decided to go for Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Khaike Paan Banaras Wala’ look as he wore a polka dot waist coat over a shirt and matching pants.
Swara Bhasker also give retro feels at the party.

Meanwhile, Javed Akhtar is a recipient of the Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and five National Film Awards as well. Earlier, he has worked as screenplay writer and gave us movies like ‘Deewar’, ‘Zanjeer’ and ‘Sholay’. Later he left screenplay writing and became a lyricist and a poet!
