Jhanvi Kapoor who claimed to be Abhishek Bachchan’s wife once, approached for ‘Bigg Boss 11’

The stage is set for Big Boss’ latest season and the search is already begun for the celebrities and commoners who will be locked in the house. After Aneri Vajani, Nia Sharma, Sana Saeed and Pearl V Puri, buzz is that makers has approached another surprising name.

We’re talking about model-background dancer Jhanvi Kapoor – the one who had once claimed to be Abhishek Bachchan‘s wife.

 Jhanvi had created a huge controversy when she had claimed she married Abhishek just before the actor was supposed to tie the knot with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. During Abhishek and Aishwarya’s wedding celebration, Jhanvi had slashed her wrists with a blade in front of journalists standing in front of Amitabh Bachchan’s residence.

Now, a report in Bollywoodlife said she could be one of the contestants in the reality show as the makers of Bigg Boss 11 feel she will bring a lot of drama to the table.

“The makers want to bring in controversial figures who can create a storm. Jhanvi created a furore when she claimed that she was already married to junior AB. She slit her wrist and grabbed all footage during the wedding, which was one of the most broadcasted ones in India. Jhanvi was a background dancer in Abhishek’s film Dus,” the entertainment portal quoted a source as saying.

Reportedly, the model has now become a godwoman.  She also claims herself to be a Brahmacharini. Last year, the makers roped in self-styled controversial godman Om Swami, who not only made headlines while inside the house, but continues to do so even now.

Speculations are rife that actors Niti Taylor, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Achint Kaur, Vikrant Singh Rajput and Nia Sharma have also been approached for the show. The makers have also reached out to Rahul Raj Singh, who was in a relationship with late actor Pratyusha Banerjee. Others approached include Vancouver-based fitness blogger Navpreet Banga who was in news for her resemblance to Priyanka Chopra, and Dhinchak Pooja, known for her songs such as Selfie Maine Le Li Aaj, Dilon Ka Shooter etc.
