Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer Kalank song Ghar More Pardesiya teaser out

After unveiling back-to-back posters, now the makers of Kalank is all set to release the first song from the film.

Titled Ghar More Pardesiya, the song features Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt walking through a crowd as their town celebrates Dusshera. Alia has reportedly learnt Kathak for the song.

Alia took to Instagram to tease her fans with the teaser of the song and says it gave her many sleepless nights. 

“A song that gave me sleepless nights, days & months is coming very very soon.. I think you can safely say that I have never been SO nervous for anything in my life.. *screams frantically and hides under bed* You may have to send a search party to find me. Meanwhile watch this space for more..,” she captioned the photo.

Kalank is a period flick set in the 1940s and is back by Karan Johar under his home banner Dharma Productions. The idea of Kalank was conceptualised by Karan’s late father Yash Johar 15 years back and it was revealed by him a few days back. The film is set against the backdrop of India’s partition.
