Kalki Koechlin & Sumeet Vyas starrer ‘Ribbon’ trailer is out. Directed by Rakhee Sandilya, the film revolves around the complexities of today’s couple.
In the trailer, we see Kalki and Sumeet’s characters try to deal with an unexpected pregnancy and the various aspects attached to it. The fears, the doubts, the insecurities and the unpredictable turns that life sometimes takes – some of which we are ready to face and some, which test us. Often, it is nothing less than a struggle to come out of the lows. And yet, it is love that pulls us back on our feet.
[ecp code=”4″]The trailer has subtle messages for young couples, who find themselves giving in to the pressure, letting the relationship go for a toss and finding solace in blaming the other for all that’s going wrong.
Kalki announces her pregnancy to Sumeet in the most unexpected manner and then we see their struggles of striking the right balance between personal and professional commitments. Their love story is quite relatable with romance, passion, arguments and so on.
Directed and co-written by Rakhee Sandilya, Ribbon is a Red Cart Films production. It is slated to release across India on 3 November.
