Kamal Haasan is one of the few actors in Kollywood, who shows a keen inclination towards politics. As a result, his opinions on government policies and current affairs are taken very seriously and now he has made a very interesting statement on one such pressing issue.
According to reports, the Ulaganayagan has now issued an apology for supporting the government’s demonetization move. The actor had initially hailed the move from the Modi government.[ecp code=”4″]
However, he has now said that he regrets supporting the move without looking at its repercussions first. The ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ actor also revealed that many people who have a fair knowledge of economics called him and criticized him for his pro-government stance.
Now, the actor feels that the idea was still good but its implementation is where the Modi regime failed. Kamal concluded his apology by saying that if the PM accepts his mistake then he would salute him for his honesty.
The veteran actor is definitely looking to get into electoral politics and even met party leader Arvind Kejriwal. Meanwhile, he is firm on his vision of starting an autonomous political outfit for the time being.
