Bigg Boss 13 contestant Mahira Sharma is currently breaking the headlines these days as she has been accused of forging a Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Award.
Recently, Mahira Sharma posted on her Instagram story showcasing that she has received the certificate of appreciation for being the ‘Most Fashionable Contestant of Bigg Boss 13’ at Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2020.
Later DPIFF officials released a statement on their Instagram handle and accused Mahira of forging the award and called her ‘fraud’ and they also demands a public apology from her.
Mahira Sharma promises to return forged Dadasaheb Phalke certificate
Recently, she took to her Instagram handle and stated that she would return the honour as well. Moments later, she deleted the post as well.
Mahira took to her Instagram handle to announce that she would be returning her certificate. A part of her post read, “I would not have accepted it in the first place. Now, that the matter is clear, I would like to return the forged certificate and will take this incident as a learning experience. With all due respect to the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival, as a performer and an artiste I would love to earn this award in future, only and only by the officials of DPIFF(sic).”

Talking about this matter, Mahira had earlier said, “My manager, Mr. Abhinav Tanwar was informed by Mr. Mehta that we will be gratified at the event with the title of Most Fashionable Bigg Boss 13 Contestant. At the event, the team of Bigg Boss 13 was called on stage and gratified with a token of appreciation. On questioning about my solo award by my manager to Mr. Mehta, he handed over the award to my manager stating that I cannot be called on stage owing to the huge hue and rush on stage.”
