Manoj Bajpayee starrer Rukh has been released in cinemas. It is a moving story about a father-son relationship with the latter rediscovering his lost connections and familial ties, through the secrets and memories he must confront on his way.

Story of the movie: The story of the film revolves around businessman Diwakar (Manoj Bajpayee) and his son Dhruv (Adarsh Gourav). Diwakar plays chess with his ill Father, talks with his wife and takes a drive which proves to be his last one. His son Dhruv (Adarsh Gourav) who was living his hostel life in exile returns to home facing this unfortunate death of his father. Then, he tries to find out the real reason behind the death of his father. As he copes with the tragedy, hidden truths begin to unravel. Dhruv’s father Divakar went bankrupt before his death. Even as his mother Nandini struggles to shield him from the truth, Dhruv starts looking for answers. Was his father’s death an accident or a premeditated murder? The search leads to a series of unexpected revelations, as he discovers the shades of his father’s personality he had never seen before.

Star Performance: Manoj Bajpayee delivers a brilliant performance. Adarsh Gourav again wins the heart of the audience. Smita Tambe as Nandini (Diwakar’s wife) has done justice to her role. Kumud Mishra and others are the assets of the film.

Music Direction: The film’s music is good.

Direction: The film’s direction is good. The film captures the time and the current political scenario with flourish. The screenplay of the film could be even better. On the technical front, the production design is simply realistic and awe-inspiring. Pooja Gupte’s camera work seems to be non-intrusive making the entire viewing experience natural.

Watch Or Not: If you like these types of suspense films, it must be for you.
