Actor Salman Khan who is currently shooting for Dabangg 3 in Indore has landed in legal trouble. If reports are to be believed, the actor and his production team has been served with a notice by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) for damaging antique figurine while shooting of the film.

Notice issued to Salman Khan

According to reports, the Dabangg team has been accused of damaging an antique figurine at one of the forts located nearby the banks of the river Narmada in the town of Maheshwar. According to the eyewitnesses, the figurine got damaged while the set of the film was being removed from the fort.

The ASI has ordered Salman and his team to remove two set pieces of the film which were being constructed at the historic Jal Mahal in Mandu, Madhya Pradesh. The notice also consists of the clause that the film’s shooting might get cancelled if the filmmakers do not pay heed to the above instructions.

Reports also suggest that the production house was informed earlier regarding the same but the team of Dabangg 3 did not take any action from their side. Now, as per the notice, the film’s crew has violated the norms of the ancient Monument, Archeological sites and Remains Act 1959 by constructing a film set.

Culture Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Vijaylaxmi Sadho said that whatever happened was wrong. She further said that she will visit the fort herself to understand the situation. She said, “The action against the people will be taken if they are accused of doing something wrong during the shooting of the film.”

Earlier, shooting of “Dabangg 3” in Maheshwar got embroiled in a controversy when photographs of a “Shivling” purportedly being covered with wooden planks during the shoot surfaced on the social media.
