After ‘Beyhadh’, ‘May I Come In Madam?’ and ‘Chidiya Ghar’, the latest set to catch fire is that of TV show ‘Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee’. A fire broke out on the sets of show on Wednesday (August 9). According to reports, a large part of the set has been destroyed in the fire.
The show has been jinxed since it went on air as a number of mishaps have taken place on the sets.
Not long time ago, the show’s lead actors Kanwar Dhillon and Tina Philip were involved in a mishap were Kanwar had to save Tina from drowning in a pit during a shoot.
Luckily the fire broke out when there was no one present at the time of the mishap.
Kanwar Dhillon, the male lead of the show, tells TOI, “Fortunately, the fire broke out after pack-up. I was informed by a former co-actor who was passing by my set. I immediately contacted my production head, who told me that a fire brigade had already arrived. Fortunately, no one was hurt, but the fire has ravaged the set as a result of which our shoot was cancelled on Wednesday. We hope to resume work soon.”
“Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee” went on air in April and is the story of Aastha, an atheist that gets married to a religious family in Kolkata.
