Do you remember Rimi Sen? The pretty actress who sizzled in the first part of the Dhoom series opposite Abhishek Bachchan and did a few hit films like Garam Masala, Golmaal and Hungama?
After a few years in the industry, Rimi bid a goodbye to acting, she is said to be seriously considering a career in politics.
Earlier this year, Rimi joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), after she was “inspired” by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Buzz is that the party is wooing Rimi to contest the elections. According to a report in Masala.com, a senior BJP leader has formally requested her to become an active leader in West Bengal politics.

She made her Bollywood debut with Vijay Galani’s Hungama in 2003. Rimi has acted in successful Bollywood films like Dhoom, Golmaal and many more.
Sen was a celebrity contestant in the ninth season of the Indian version of the reality TV show Big Brother, Bigg Boss. It went aired in October 2015. Sen entered the house with Suyyash Rai as her partner for the show; however, her pairing was revised on Day 5 where Rochelle Maria Rao was chosen as her new partner. She was evicted after staying in the house for 7.5 weeks.
