Salman Khan to produce a TV show on wrestler Gama Pehalwan!

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is all set to make his production debut on the small screen. The actor has decided to make his small screen production debut with a biopic on Gama Pehalwan, who is known as one of the greatest wrestlers of all times.

The Bollywood actor has wanted to make a film on wrestler Gama Pehalwan for a long time but somehow things didn’t work out. In fact, John Abraham was planning to make a film on the sportsman hence Salman changed his mind. But now the superstar has decided to bring the pehalwan live for the small screen.

According to DNA’s report, Sohail Khan will be reprising the role of the wrestler in the show.

The story will be set in the period of Partition in Amritsar, which was Gama’s hometown.  The wrestler could not be defeated even a single time in a career spanning more than five decades, no doubt he is considered one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. After independence, he migrated to Pakistan and diet at the age of 82 in 1960.

The team has already shot the pilot episode and has been sent to the channel.

On work front, Salman Khan is busy with Tiger Zinda Hai and is in Abu Dhabi shooting for the second schedule. He has wrapped up Tubelight and the film is all set to release this Eid.
