The eighth season of nation’s favourite couple dance reality show, Nach Baliye kick started a few weeks back. Sonakshi Sinha, Mohit Suri and Terence Lewis are on the judges panel this season.
Well, here is a bed new for the fans of ‘Noor’ actress. In a shocking move, Sonakshi Sinha has been replaced by Malaika Arora on “Nach Baliye 8″.
Yes, the Sona is no longer a judge on the show and Malaika who stepped into her shoes will start shooting for her first episode soon. According to reports, ‘Nach Baliye’ was Malaika’s first show as a judge, so she is very excited to join it once again.
For all those wondering why Sonakshi left the show midway? Well, the makers have a really good reason to replace Sona!
According to reports, Sonakshi apparently has a few prior commitments over the next few weeks, which will keep her away from Nach Baliye 8. The actress was travelling for an International Tour, The Da-Bangg Tour along with Salman Khan since April 16. Now that it has ended, she will travel to South Africa and join Hrithik Roshan for another tour that she has committed to perform at already. This left the makers of Nach Baliye with no choice but to look for a replacement.
“Malaika begins shooting on Tuesday. She will make her entry with the male contestants on her chartbusters, Munni and Anarkali,” a source was quoted by publication.
Talking about Sonakshi Sinha, she has been in the news for her war of words with singer Armaan Malik. It all began when the news of Sonakshi Sinha opening the upcoming Justin Bieber concert came out. Armaan pointed out the need to give singers priority on concerts rather than asking actors to perform in a singing concert. This allegation of ‘taking the limelight’ didn’t go down well with Sonakshi and she retaliated saying that art shouldn’t have limitations.
“Firstly, I am not performing at the Bieber concert. “Secondly, I am an actor who loves music, who loves to perform and who loves to sing. And if anyone has a problem with that, in the wise words of baba Bieber himself… they can go “love” themselves. Over and out,” Sonakshi said.
