‘Swabhimaan’ actress Sangeita Chauhaan wants to get separated from her husband Chirag Shah

Actress Sangetia Chauhaan, who is currently seen in TV show  “Ek Shringaar-Swabhiman” has been making headlines for quite a while and for all wrong reasons. Earlier her husband, Chirag Shah went missing, post a fight between the two. After searching him everywhere, Sangeita’s brother filed a Police complaint. Chirag came home four days later.

Chirag is a producer and has produced short films like “Madam India” (2013), “In the Closet” (2015). He also has co-produced an upcoming Bollywood film “Dekh Indian Circus”.

Incidentally, Sangeita had kept her marital status under wraps for many years. When quizzed about it, Chirag replied, “It was a mutual decision. I would always introduce myself as her boyfriend when she was working down South. But when she bagged ‘Ek Shringaar — Swabhiman’, neither the production house nor the channel asked her about her marriage.”

Now Sangeita wants to lead a life sans her husband Chirag and has expressed the same. After his return, the couple has been staying separately.When contacted Chirag said, “I am hoping for a reconciliation with my wife. I don’t want to talk about anything else.”

Meanwhile, there are rumours about Sangeita’s growing proximity to her ‘Swabhiman’ co-actor Saahil Uppal. The actress, however, refuted the buzz, saying, “Saahil and I are just friends. The rest of it is my personal life, which I would keep personal.”
