Television actor Dhruv Bhandari who ties the knot with Bollywood choreographer Shruti Merchant has been blessed with a baby girl on January 18.
The couple are excited with the arrival of their little bundle of joy. Sharing his happiness with Times of India, Dhurv said “Shruti and I are ecstatic. The feeling is so overwhelming, it’s difficult to describe.”
When he was asked why the couple kept the news of the pregnancy a secret he said it was not the intention at all, “That definitely wasn’t the intention. It was just that I was inactive on social media. I did share a few posts during the pregnancy, but mostly, we just wanted to enjoy the journey on our own.”

The couple hasn’t decided on a name yet, although they do have some names shortlisted. “We wanted to see her and hold her first. We do have a few names in mind though, so let’s see,” he signs off.
Dhruv and Shruti tied the knot on June 20, 2017 in a traditional wedding. Shruti is the sister of ace choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant and is also a choreographer herself. She was seen judging ‘Dance India Dance 4’.

Dhruv who was last seen playing the lead role opposite Hiba Nawab in Star Plus show ‘Tere Sheher Mein’ has been away from TV ever since he quit the show.
