Kanika Kapoor tests positive for COVID-19 for fifth consecutive time

Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor has tested positive for coronavirus for the fifth consecutive time. Sample tests are being carried out on corona patients every 48 hours.

The singer is undergoing treatment at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) in Lucknow.

The director of the institute, Dr RK Dhiman, said that her condition was stable and there was no cause for worry. “Kanika is doing well as also taking food on time,” he said, adding that the information circulated on social media regarding her deteriorating health is false and baseless.

Kanika, who was hospitalized on March 20 after she tested positive for Coronavirus, had returned form London on March 9 and then travelled to Kanpur and Lucknow and during her stay she developed cough and fever.

After she tested positive, she was slammed by the media for attending parties and spreading the virus though none of those who came into contact with her tested positive. She was also criticised by the hospital administration for her ‘starry behaviour’.
