RIP! Music composer Pritam Chakraborty’s father passes away after prolonged illness

Bollywood music composer Pritam Chakraborty’s father, Prabodh Chakraborty has passes away on May 24 after two-year battle with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases. He was 86.

According to a report in PTI, a source was quoted saying as, “Pritam, his mother and sister were with Prabodh Chakraborty in the hospital till the end. He was suffering from Parkinson and Alzheimer.”

Talking about the last rites in the time of Covid-19, the source further revealed,“Given the coronavirus spread, the entire family was responsible and all the religious formalities were done with minimal attendance of immediate family.”

 The reports suggest that his last rites were carried out on Sunday, i.e., May 24, 2020 in Amboli.
