Malayalam actor Shaji Thilakan who was the son of late veteran actor and stage performer Thilakan passes away in Kochi on Thursday. He was 55.
Shaji was undergoing treatment for liver-related ailments. He is survived by wife Indira Shaji and daughter Abhirami.

Shaji was also an employee of Apollo Tyres and was active in the television world. The actor had played the role of villain in Mazhavil Manorama’s popular TV show titled Aniyathi and was appreciated for his performance.
Shaji Thilakan was the son of Shantha, Thilakan’s second wife. He has two siblings, Shammi Thilakan and Shobi Thilakan, who are actors as well.
