Vicky Kaushal’s new look as field Marshal Sam Manekshaw on his death anniversary unveiled

Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal will be seen playing the role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in his biopic.

Today, on the death anniversary of Sam Manekshaw, Vicky Kaushal has paid a tribute to the latter by sharing a new look from the film.

The actor posted a video offering tribute to the war hero on Twitter and Instagram. He tweeted, “In remembrance of one of India’s finest- Field Marshal #SamManekshaw. This journey is going to be very special with @meghnagulzar @RonnieScrewvala @RSVPMovies #BhavaniIyer @iShantanuS @bharatrawail.”

Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw was the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) of the Indian Army and best-known for commanding the Indian forces during the India-Pakistan 1971 war. Popularly called ‘Sam Bahadur’, he was the first Indian officer to be promoted to the rank of a field marshal.
