Veteran actress Kishori Ballal who is known for her role as Kaveriamma in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Swades has passes away.
The actor passed away due to age-related ailments at a private hospital here, family sources said.

Mourning the demise of Kishori Ballal, Swades director Ashutosh Govariker took to his social media and grieved the loss. He tweeted, “HEARTBROKEN! Terribly sad about the passing away of #KishoriBallal ji!! Kishori ji… you will be remembered for your generously kind, warm and affable persona! And your unforgettable performance as #Kaveriamma in #Swades !! You will surely be missed!!”

Ballal started her career in acting in 1960 and worked in movies like Aiyyaa’, ‘Lafangey Parindey’, and ‘Carry On Maratha’ among others. She has acted in over 50 movies in her career span.
