Following the trend, Randeep Hooda too wants to join the single parents’ league though surrogacy. However, his father changed his mind.

In an interview with Hindustan Times the actor said, “I thought about having my own child through surrogacy. I even discussed this with my parents and they were okay with this thought and idea.”

However, his father later advised him against the idea. The actor shared, “My dad said, ‘Beta, bachchon ko maa ki zaroorat hoti hai (a child needs a mother). How are you going to manage that? Do you want your child to be deprived of a mother?’ I said ‘No’. I would rather wait for the right time to get married and have a child, who would get both parents to love him/her.”

Randeep revealed that his parents were constantly trying to convince him to get married and start a family. “Oh yes, my parents put that pressure all the time. My mom sneakily shows me the pictures of girls who have sent marriage proposals, though I don’t think it is going to happen anytime soon,” he laughed, adding, “But then, you never know what happens next.”

For now, films are enough to make Randeep happy. “With acting, my life is complete. I’m in a relationship with my work and my love for animals and social work are just an extension to my personality. I’m very involved in it and all these require my complete attention,” he said.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Randeep will soon start shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s next, which features Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles.
