Shabana Azmi discharged from the hospital, shares first picture post accident

Veteran actress Shabana Azmi who met with an accident on Mumbai-Pune highway has been discharged from the hospital.

The actress has severely injured after her car rammed into a truck on Pune Mumbai highway near Khalapur toll plaza. She was immediately rushed to MGM Hospital for medical treatment and later shifted to Kolikaben hospital.

After getting treated, the actress finally discharged from the hospital. Now, the actress took to her Twitter handle and shares first picture post accident.

The actress wrote, “Thank you all for your prayers and wishes for my recovery. Im back home now Thank you #Tina Ambani and Kokilaben Ambani hospital for the sterling care provided by the doctors team and the nursing staff. Im indebted and grateful.”

Post the accident, Javed Akhtar had given a health update and had stated that no serious harm was done. “There is good news. All tests and medical reports including the MRI are positive. No serious harm was done. We can all breathe a sigh of relief,” he stated.
