The makers of ‘Shikara’ has released the new trailer of the film. The film tells the story of around 4,00,000 Kashmiri Pandits who had to fled the Valley in a mass exodus in 1990.
The trailer showcases the brutal and disturbing ethnic cleaning that took place in Kashmir in 1989. The trailer gives a detail account of horrible and stressful conditions under which Kashmiri Pandit has to flee their homes.
The trailer also has some real footage from the incident and features 40,000 real migrants of Jagti and other camps who shot for the film.
The film stars newbie Aadil Khan and Sadia in the lead roles.
Produced by Vinod Chopra Productions and co-produced by Fox star studios, ‘Shikara’ is set to hit the screens on 7th February.
